Where did the vote for your favorite 2003 HL poll go?

It was there for a few days and now it's gone from "The Voting Booth" and "The General Forum".

You're right, Lorie, it is gone. I'm the moderator of that thread and I didn't remove it. The author of that topic might have removed it, or any other "Saint" could have removed it.

I didn't see any reason for it to be removed. I guess we will have to stand-by to stand-by. Someone will tell us the correct answer.

I did not remove it. Don't know who did. Who was the originator?

If I remember correctly it was Bill Harnsberger.

There was some question about the GLOW choice so maybe he deleted the poll to try and figure out a better way to go about it.

I would like to see that or a similar poll return so that more votes can be counted.

Maybe the author of that poll, Bill H., may have gathered the info he needed for another great post then deleted it.

Gee I didn't even vote yet and now the polls are closed? Hmmm, maybe the poll had too many hanging chads? As for the GLOW's...why even include them? I say let's stick with the principals!

Maybe someone in Florida didn't like the winner!

Hmmm...his "Early Presidential Poll" is also gone. Maybe alot of the comments made were too much pro-Bush and not enough pro-Dean

Recent one question, one answer interview conducted in Maine:

Q. Will Bill return?

A. Always has.

I emailed Bill and got a prompt response. He did take the polls down. He's also indicated his collecting has dwindled down to just Maine lights these days and his interest in the CF has declined as well.

I am pleased to hear that Bill is OK and that he has decided to handle only the Maine Lights. I have only New England and can understand his thoughts. Little River, Maine is due out next Spring so I'm sure he will add that one to his collection.

I'm disappointed in hearing that his interest in CF has dwindled. I always enjoyed his posts and looked forward to his REVIEWS. I hope that somehow or other he will maintain his "Year End Reviews" and they were always informative.

I hope that from time to time he jumps in and lets us know what's going on in Maine.
