What one HL model do you want (or need) the most for your collection - and why?
To keep it interesting, let's rule out Coquille and odd ball variations (like the Michigan Split Rock).

The Harbour Light I most wanted was a NPL. That changed on Friday when I bought one. I would say now, the piece that I most want would be a St. Augustine, FL.
St. Auggie brings back some childhood memories of a family trip to Flordia. Stopping at places such as Disney, the St. Augustine lighthouse, and an old jail if I remember correctly. Even though I was quite young at the time, I still remember that huge lighthouse that went up so high into the sky.....

Since we only own 25 pieces so far (21 LEs, Tim)it would be hard to limit myself to just one here. But I've got to admit that St. Augustine is very high on my lust list. I just think it's a very nice light (the red hat is simply smashing), and well done by HL (for it's vintage). Another fav is SEBI. I love the Georgian architecture. With their prohibitive (to me) price tags, both are likely to wait until I've scored some of the other LEs first. Just for the record, I have the SEBI GLOW, but not the St. Auggie.

My must have is Portland Head. I fell in love with it when I visited there this year, so I must have the HL. A broken TV wiped out a bit of the money i have been saving, but I am not out of it yet!

Well, since Tim has decreed Coquille River to be "unwantable", I'd have to say that my "most wanted" piece would have to be Portland Head, simply because it's such a darn good lookin' piece. (And if I didn't already have Southeast Block Island, that would be my first choice, cause IMHO it's one of the best lookin' pieces HL has EVER done!) :>)

The HL piece I desire most is Hilton Head, SC mainly because South Carolina holds lots of fond memories for me.....hair wipping in the wind riding on the back of hubbies motorcycle. But if looks had anything to do with it I have to agree with Stan...Southeast Block Island is my second most desired piece.

Southern Belles for the Southern belle. I don't consider myself a "region only" collector. I'm not. I have 92 pieces, all from the different areas. But the SBs are on top of my must-have list. tnkeeper

My current "Most Wanted" is Cape Henry. My wife and I went there 2 years ago and it still is her favorite of the lighthouses that we have seen together. I could have picked it up locally before it was retired, but didn't have the money. I'm still kicking myself about it. I just found out that it is available on the secondary market, so I may need a new "Most Wanted" soon.

If you check out Retired@Retail on the Harbour Lights web site, you will note that Cape Henry is available at retail. Just e-mail Sean and he will send you the information. Its a great help, we've used it a few times.
(Sean--I thought I'd beat you to it!)

Sorry, I have to break the rules by including Coquille...I want it because Oregon is my home state and it's the only Oregon (and 5500) piece I don't have...I just scored a revised Hatteras and an original Sandy Hook for Xmas so Coquille is now at the top of the list...(a green water Minot's Ledge would be nice too!)...

Southern Belles are very intriguing. Great locations, yet just out of the reasonable price range. A good hunt for a collector.

Having just received my Ft. Niagra, that would move Big Bay Point to the top of my wish list. Maybe Santa can e-mail me with info on one he found in his workshop at retail no less! I'll leave some brandy, er, I mean milk and cookies out for him tonight just in case.

Holland, MI is a piece I want to add to our collection.
Being originally from the Midwest, I am partial to Great Lakes lighthouses. Also, the bright red lighthouses are real eye catchers!
My other want is Big Bay. I hoped to surprise my husband with it for Christmas but the deal fell through. Maybe next year . . .
