I've got a Christmas 1995 "Big Bay Point." The Certificate of Authenticity states that it is "..hand numbered in an edition of 5000," but I don't see a number anywhere! On the felt bottom it is signed "B. Younger" and there is a sticker under the signature. I don't want to remove the sticker because I'm auctioning this lighthouse and don't want to disturb its original condition in any way. Could the number be underneath the sticker? Is there any other place I should be looking? Thanks much!

Hi Catherine - welcome.

Don't remove the sticker; there's no number under it.

None of the Christmas pieces from 1995 (first year) until 2009 (current one) have been numbered.

The Certificate for Big Bay used the language picked up from other certificates on other Limited Editions -- but HL forgot to drop that "hand numbered..." wording.

HL actually printed corrected certificates which were available if you requested them. Of course that was back in 1995; doubt they are available still.
