I need help with a question about the 1995 Great Lakes Stamp Set.

Would you please respond IF you have one of the following:


[*]30 Mile Point NY with an edition number that does NOT have a letter in front of it.

[*]Spectacle Reef MI with an edition number that does NOT have a letter in front of it.

[*]St. Joseph MI with an edition number that does NOT have a letter in front of it.

It is NOT necessary to respond if you have any of these pieces WITH a letter.

If you do have one without a letter, please provide the piece name and the edition number.

For others who are interested in this and other pieces which were originally issued as open editions and later changed to limited editions:

I've heard from a couple of collectors by email who report they have the following:

Spectacle Reef 1719, 994
St. Joseph's 1836, 925, 927, 944
30 Mile Point 2099, 1127, 1128

So, yes, there were pieces made without the letter prefix.

Let me open this up to everyone.

If you have any of these three pieces, with or without a prefix letter, please post the edition number and the letter (if it has one). I'm especially looking to find the highest number - with an "A", highest with a "B" and highest without either letter.

A dealer reports he has a Spectacle Reef with the edition number of "A5428".

Checking my records, I found the following among sales on Ebay:
Specticle Reef; A7376 , B1274 (I have B719)
Thirty Mile Pt; A6641 , B2422 (I have B1814)
St. Josephs; A7136 , (I have B744)

The S.G. 1998 seys 1000 0f each were made without a letter, I have doubted that for some time but I see now they are out there. now I can keep looking.Thanks for the good info.
