I received a #7 Drum Point.

I'm also very happy with it. Next time I will buy at least two pieces, more if I get to pick which ones.

My two cents: Don't offer it around Christmas. How about between April & August.

Glad to see you folks are pleased with what "mystery" pieces you received. The "smile factor" is of the utmost importance in such purchases.

smile Bob

P.S. I'm looking for a single-digit HL 128, Southeast Light. If anyone gets one and may want to part with it, please read my "wanted" post at the Trading Post.

Sounds like those of you who have received your lights have done well with your new additions. Especially when you consider this was a blind draw. Steph, so glad you got your first mold Assateague as you hoped for.

Congratulations Stephanie you got the grand prize.
I would also bet that whoever receives the Barnagat will get the green water version. As I have said before it is most likely that only the lighthouses HL 118 to HL 138 are not from the first string. All the rest would be the first ten numbered form the first batch of lights.

I would have loved to have gotten a Barnegat with either color water. Especially since I don't have the Barnegat LE yet.

My pieces arrived last month and I received HL124 Split Rock, MN, HL125 Portland Head, ME and HL140 Diamond Head, HI. I was very pleased and they all had a number 7 on them. Certainly would be interested in doing it again.

Bob,

WOW, you should be pleased and suprised!! ....a No. 7 HL125 Portland Head..... I'm Impressed!

HL indicated during the 1st go round that this particular light (HL125) was NOT available from the Founders Collection.

Apparently the elves were busy over the holidays....

Sounds like even though the last opportunity for the Founder's Collection was a "shoot in the dark approach", many people received some GREAT lights..... makes you wonder whats left without an up-to-date inventory.....

I agree with you Christopher! I would be impressed with a Portland Head and add a Split Rock and Diamond Head. I would be doing cartwheels and that wouldn't be a pretty sight. eek

Congrats Bob, I think you've hit the jackpot. cool

Got mine today. I was thrilled to get Split Rock which I didn't have, Cape Neddick, and Peggy's Cove, all number 8.

I would definitely do it again if somehow we could pick the piece but might do it again anyhow.

It's refreshing to hear how happy people are with their latest purchases from the FC. After hearing about the pieces people have received, it makes me wonder where these pieces were in the "first round" of FC sales. I still say if HL would post a list of what's left, they would probably all sell out with the exception of a few less popular lights.

Hey Dan, ...I consider you as a very informed and knowledgeable HL expert. After this latest round of FC sales, what older pieces have not shown up. I think we all realize we won't see Cape Hatteras, Coquille, and Burrows. What about a piece like Navesink? Did anyone receive one of those? Yet again, these pieces are suppose to sell for retail pricing. Would there be anyone out there willing to pay $245 for a single-digit Navesink? Anyone else notice some of the older pieces that didn't show up with the FC sales?

Received Drum Pt, Sanibel, and Grand Traverse, all #8. I was hoping to get some older pieces, but as I currently do not have Sanibel nor Grand Traverse in my collection so I was happy to see them. Perhaps if I had not elected to receive "all the same flag number" the selection might have contained older pieces.

Such is life and the luck of the draw. Either way I was happy to add some of the Founders Collection to my collection. The number does match with the #8 Eric Land Collectors Forum piece I was lucky enough to get!
