Bear with me. I'm opening this thread and 23 others like it as a place to record edition numbers and whether with or without lightning rods. My purpose is to try to establish how many of each piece was made with a lightning rod.

Each piece has it's own thread to try to keep things organized. Don't bother reading them all unless you're like me and just can't stand not doing so.

In a reply to this thread, please state your edition number and "with rod" or "without rod".

Paul's post above refers to another variation - the year 'carved' over the doorway. On some it is 1863 and others 1868.

As you complete Art's survey, please make a note of the year as well.
