I have flag#0087 on one of my Boon Island pieces. The second one I have is an A/P.

I have no idea what the final flag# is.

KEWEENAW is bringing something to our attention.
I think that Harbour Lights first batch from the manufacturer is usually somewhere around 2,400 to fill all there standing orders. Since Boon island retired in one year and the Harbour light sales are down, maybe there was an very low production for this one. Like maybe 2,400.
If this is true we would have excitment again in the retired world of Harbour Lights while all those that don't have will try to have.

9 responses and not one higher than my #2296. I received mine for xmas this year, and I know it came from Lighthouse depot. Hopefully we'll continue to get responses. Wouldn't it be nice to have a newer LE with a very low # produced so it has the possibility of being highly sought after!! Its been a while...

I called HL and was told the product history will not be updated until May 04 and they'll have a count then on the retirements.

This includes those lighthouses listed on page 10 of the last Legacy #244-255 plus #273 Boon Island. The retirement date in the Legacy on Boon was 12/31/03. I think when it was introduced, it was expected to retire 3/31/03.

The Legacy article lists other retirements including the 2002-2003 Society pieces and the 2003 Event pieces and HL715 Ornaments, HL625-626 Bill and Nancy Lobster Floats and HL715 Ornaments and HL717 Stratford Point.
