Hello,

Just a question about HL130; On my piece, #440 (which I think is canadian, but there is no sticker), the top three main rows of rectangular stones around the lighthouse's base are gray, followed by one row of what I'd call a sand color, and then the bottom rows all a deeper, russet-like color. On other pieces I've seen, there are only two main rows of gray, followed by two rows of a sand-color, and then the deeper color below. So, I was hoping that anyone willing would give the serial number on their piece and state whether it has 2 or 3 rows of gray. Thanks! smile

The Standard Malaysia colors are: 2 gray - 3 sand - 3 deeper colors
It’s normal for there to be color variations between a Canadian and a Malaysian.
It is also not unual for there to be color variations between Canadians. This is called artist preference. It would be neat to document all the Canadian color variations. If anyone else has a Canadian lets hear from them.

The thing that is highly unusual and unheard-of is a #130 Portland Breakwater with a lighting Rod. Anniemac, You must post some pictures of this.

I currently have 2 pieces.

#1373, Malaysian, 2 light grey, 3 sand or light tan, & 2-3 (changes as it wraps around) medium brown

#906, Canadian, 3 medium grey, 1 sand, & 3-4 medium brown

The other variations between them I see is that the rocks on the Canadian are the medium grey like the bricks, while the Mayaysian is the sandy color like the middle row of bricks. Also the portholes, or windows, and the lantern room panes are different. The Malaysian is lighter than the Canadian & maybe the both are the same as the rocks.
