I just recently added Point Arena to my small LLOM collection. I hadn't noticed anything strange about it when I put it in my small LLOM curio cabinet about a month ago. I was rotating the pieces that I have yesterday and looked at the bottom of the piece and, lo and behold, it read Point Arena, Carolina instead of California. Has anyone else noticed any variations in the LLOM Series? I checked all my other pieces and they are fine. Could we have another Split Rock or Burrows Island here? Just thought I would put out the alert to the LLOM collectors. Rich

There are a few of the Carolina variation Point Arena LLOM out there... I have one and I know that Fred was selling a couple of extras that he acquired when he discovered it at his dealer.. I look every time I go into a new store but haven't seen any others since I got mine... I know that Harbour Lights managed to stop most of them from shipping out from their warehouse as Fred's discovery was in the first group that they shipped out and so they caught the mistake before a lot of them were shipped to dealers. They even asked dealers to return them for the correct version and some did just that! Of course I have to display it a little differently!! I have it displayed on it's side next to the correct Californian version and in front of their big brother Limited Edition version!!
Onward to The Land of the Midnight Sun!

I don't have one of those, but my wife does. She received it as a gift from a gentleman in California. Bob

Well, I'll be darned! Now the note that accompanied mine from that "gentleman in California" makes sense!
