Here's a guessing game for those who know their HL product Numbers...

What do HL242, HL291, HL660, and HL674 have in common?

Well 3 of them have 2 lighthouses. Is one of the HL# wrong or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Mea Culpa - should have been HL668 - Three Sisters. All of them have more than one lighthouse on the base.

How about the product numbers for Harbour Lights that had more than one lighthouse in the box on different bases? (These items were sold only as a set.)

Great Grace! (A new moniker for you smile )

There are five more items which had 2 or more different lighthouses in the same box and were sold only as sets.

Congratulations on SUPER WACKO! Don't forget the Krispie Kremes at the next Chat. Thursday evening!

Right Dave.

There are three more. You'll have to think 'smaller' for these.

I've been congratulated on my Super Wacko status a couple of times recently - actually I hit 1000. Super Wacko was back in December. Unless, of course, there are different Super Wacko levels.

Lou - the Round Island MS set had two of the same lighthouse (before and after) as opposed to two or more DIFFERENT lighthouse in the same box.

Eric, you're on the right track. now for the product numbers and, for extra credit which lighthouses were done in each set.

Were the ornament sets in 2000 and 2001 packaged together?

Here's where this all is going. This one that will take some calculating.

How many different lighthouses do you think Harbour Lights has made?

Cape Hatteras - in several forms -- counts as 1
Hatteras Beacon is a different lighthouse - count as 1
Cape Romain (only a limited) counts as 2 (different towers same base)
Navesink - in LE and LL counts as 2 (towers, not different pieces)
Round Island MS - counts as 1 (same lighthouse 2 different versions.)

Include the lightships, Skip the other Anchor Bay, Fresnel lenses and Life Saving Station (only) pieces. Don't bother with Guardians - they were all done before. Don't forget the Thumbnails, Ornaments, Spyglass, Miniatures, and Pharos Collection, but don't count the British Isles Collection and British LL - not made by Harbour Lights.

You won't find it on Harbour Lights website because the product list is incomplete. (Hope to have it ready by March 5.)

Remember, we're counting sculptures of different lighthouses and towers.

Don't have the resources to count them up? Take a guess. But say you are guessing. If you've done the research, say you've counted 'em up.

Got a question on the rules, just ask. First person to post (guess or count) the exact number wins a prize. I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 1,000.
