Do you have an correctly spelled Admiralty Head?

I'm checking to see if:

1. What country it was made in
2. If it has a lightning rod

Basically, I'm trying to find out if all the corrected ones were made in Malaysia or not and if any of the corrected ones have lightning rods or not.

Thanks in advance.

No need to answer if you have the incorrectly spelled one only.

John,

Was the spelling of Admiralty in the topic intentional? Time for another vacation??

John,

My Admiralty Head(s) #2128 and #5327 have no lightning rods and were born in Malaysia.

I also have three incorrect spellings (Admirality) -- #208 California, #585 (Canada) and #2469 (Malaysia) -- and all three have lightning rods.

Sorry, that kind of blows your theory right out of the water. frown

Spelling was a mistake.

My theory is "I wonder if Malaysian Admiralty Heads were all the same OR NOT?"

I 'win' either way - just want to present people with the most accurate information in the Collectors Guide, coming this Fall to your friendly Harbour Lights dealer.

You note the inconsistency here?

#2128 NO ROD, Malaysia

#2469, ROD Malaysia

#5327 NO ROD, Malaysia

After this book goes to press and I have a 'vacation' of sorts, I'll set up a site where we can report the variations and see if we can fine tune the old information I collected way back when.

So now I'm looking to find out if ALL the Canadian ones had rods OR NOT.

Anybody have a Canadian one WITHOUT a rod?

The only correct spelled admiralty that I have is number 2123 and it really isn't spelled right. This is a Malaysian made and is the rare Admiral(P)y Version. Only two known to exist.

John, all correct spelled Admiralty Head were made in Malaysia and none have a lighting rod. All Canadian made have lighting Rods. This info is from my spread sheet that I have logged 60 admiralty Head from ebay and 30 of them were Canadian.
