I received a note today from HL that the first pieces to be released of HL315 Hereford Inlet NJ Fall Colorway (Total 3,000 pieces $75) will be sent to the be sold at the NJ Lighthouse Challenge. These items will mistakenly have the prefix letter "A", and will range from 1201 to 1500. Normally a prefix letter indicates a GLOW.

The remainder of the run numbered 1-1199 and 1501-3000 will not have the prefix letter.

The mistake is the opposite for the GLOW Hooper Strait MD which is an open edition. The pieces first shipped will have the numbers 1201-1500 without a prefix letter "A". The balance of the production run made in 2004 of this open edition will have the prefix "A" letter.

Very interesting! I guess I won't really be effected since my autoship number on the Autumn Hereford falls in the range not to be lettered with an "A". I don't normally purchase GLOW's so I won't have to worry about the new Hooper Strait.

For those that don't know what I mean by the $, here\'s my sad tale of woe. I now have started using a $ instead of an S in the name of the light. I'm having one of those "really embarrased by old posts" moments...
