I got a GLOW New London Ledge, the Anatomy Of A Lighthouse book, a Cape Hatteras Nightlight, a Lighthouse Journal to record my adventures in, a Lighthouse collector Ornament and a second copy of a book I could not get my wife to return- The ultimate Book of Lighthouses (this one was discussed earlier this year- it't definitely not the ultimate, and it has inaccuaracies galore, but she liked the pictures. I'll give her that- the pictures in the book are nice. I still don't reccomend it due to it's other problems.)

I also got a new CD burner and a Tom Petty Anthologogy.

Well, so far I've only opened one gift as we are waiting for the rest of the crew to arrive for our Christmas on the 29th but it was a lighthouse tapestry, one of those long skinny things you hang on the wall, very nice. And previously I.O. had given me money towards the reunion, so that would certainly count as a lighthouse gift!

No HL's under my Christmas tree. My family knows I have a standing order for one of everything from my dealer so that eliminates them buying HL's for me.

My "big" gift this year was a digital camera. I'm still learning how to use it and plan to take many digital pictures in my travels. It will also be a real plus to my dealings on eBay.

Happy New Year!

Bob

A very dear friend gave me the Statue of Liberty as well as an Afgan of the Lighthouses of the Upper Peninsula. I also received the book "Anatomy of A Lighthouse" and a beautiful bronze statue of "A Sea Farer" that stands 19" tall. My brother sent me a set of four HL ornaments and a beautiful sweatshirt of Hatteras LH. To say the least I was surprised and happy with everything I received!!

I was very happy to receive the 4 new HL ornies for this year, the Southern Belles Spyglass Series and the GLOW version of Cape Hatteras.

Also under the tree were the books Anatomy of the Lighthouse by Rhein and Lighthouse Keepers and Coast Guard Cutters by Stonehouse.

The gifts were very nice, but I really enjoy more, looking at the faces of my family and seeing their enjoyment, especially my two nieces, when they open their gifts.

My wife got me two books, the "Anatomy of a Lighthouse", and "The Lighthouse Book". She also got me a Fort Jefferson and a South Bass Island. Plus a Lighthouse lamp, which has four different lighthouse pictures on it. Last but not least, my mother got me a sweater with a lighthouse on it.

My wife received a lighthouse sweatshirt, an address book with some Thomas Kinkade lights in it, and two lighthouse pillows.

All in all, a very Merry Christmas here at the Nader house.

Let's see... Santa brought me a Big Bay Christmas Ligthouse from 1995 (the only Christmas one I was missing), I also received Assateague GLOW from a friend, assorted calendars and a wind chime with a lighthouse as the gong part. Oh yeah, and my husband bought a very large laminated map of the US with pushpins to mark which lighthouses we have visited. Can't wait to mark off the first 100.
All in all, it was a very nice Chrstmas.

My wife, Dee and I were able to share our day with our children, Grandchild and friends.
Hope everyone's Holidays were happy!

Santa brought me Hereford Inlet, four lighthouse books (Lighthouses of the Pacific Coast, The Ultimate Book of Lighthouses, Lost Lighthouses and Mid-Atlantic Lighthouses), a lighthouse T-shirt and some lighthouse notecards. I guess Santa (and my wife, children and sister-in-law) must think I like lighthouses.

Happy Holidays,

Larry

For the past two or three months, I have been telling my wife that every HL I bought was a Christmas present. The ones that actually made it under the tree were a Diamond Head, A Holland LE and a Brant Point. My daughter got me a Lens and it had a cracker jack certificate in it. My other daughter got me a Tug Toledo. All in all, a great HL Christmas!

Christmas at our house didn't have many Harbour Lights in it. We also have a standing order with a dealer for all the pieces. Jeff did however buy me a Little Light of Mine of Big Red for my office and a new Big Red sweatshirt that he said I needed for next years reunion. I bought him a Little Light of Cape Hatteras. Our big present came before Christmas in the form of our seventh curio cabinet for our collection of Harbour Lights. All in all we had a great Christmas with our family and hope everyone else did also.

My husband gave me 2 Lenox lighthouses. They are both very beautiful, but he told me from now on, whnever he buys me a lighthouse it will be Harbour Lights! He's impressed with the quality too. We both also like the fact the HL sculpts actual lights, not just mythical lighthouses (like Lenox does). I also received a lighthouse calendar from a family friend.
Also got a Rams replica jersey with the number 13 and the name "Chris" on the back! I have always liked 13- my birthday and my anniversary are both the 13th. Just happens to be Kurt Warner's lucky number too. (GO RAMS- beat the Saints!).

Hope you all had a blessed Christmas!

If we're counting gifts to ourselves I bought a cute little lighthouse fountain at the Pfaltzgraff store on Christmas Eve. It's battery operated and has a sound sensor. When it runs the light in the lantern room comes on.

I received one HL, Ship John Shoal, and one book, "Lost Lighthouses". We cut back gifts this year since we are building a house. That just means more room for more HLs in the future.

For me it was Old Mackinac(GLOW), Holland(GLOW), Coquille River (GLOW), Big Sable. Also received a lighthouse nightlight, "Lighthouse Collector" sign, Jupiter ballcap and a book called "Lighthouses" by F. Ross Holland. It covers American/British Isles lights and has a lot of history in it. Have only glanced at it so far. Now I am looking for room for the new additions.

Glad everyone had a great lighthouse Christmas! Santa, my family and friends were extra nice giving me lighthouse gifts. Eldred Rock, La Martre, 2000 Christmas ornaments, two picture lighthouse books that are full of fantastic photos, two dress pins( one is an angel that has a lighthouse tucked in the folds of her robe) a casual shirt, yards of lighthouse material to make a jumper, stone coasters, a hand stitched ornament and a sun catcher. My mother always gives me some spending money for my next trip, whatever it may be. I feel blessed beyond measure and will enjoy each gift.

I got a gift certificate from one of my favorite HL stores and a LH calendar. These are the only lighthouse related gifts I got for Christmas. The wife has no idea which ones I have and which ones I need! (I only need a few of the open editions, and I'm in no hurry to get all of them. I don't see them going anywhere fast!)

We have six kids and Christmas is an expensive time at our house. It's as if all the new releases at Harbour Lights came out all at once.
For christmas, I got a HL gift certificate from my oldest daughter.
My wife gave me an empty wallet.
From the mailman, I got the BILLS

Also received a new H/P 930C printer to go with the new digital camera that I received last month for my B'day.

A few weeks before Christmas treated myself to an Ocracoke. Especially nice since we saw it & the other OBX light for the first time this past summmer. Now our NC lights are complete!

My wonderful better half gave me a gorgeous Swarovski crystal lighthouse for our wedding anniversary. Our anniversary is very near Christmas.

For Christmas I received the HL 2001 calendar and a really unique (to me) and attractive metal lighthouse finch feeder. We're big on feeding and watching wild birds.

My parents gave me the Hereford Inlet Christmas piece. My boss gave me a Swarovski Crystal lighthouse and a Swarovski sail boat to go with it. My oldest brother gave everyone gift certificates to the Olive Garden Restaurant so we can all go on New Year's Eve and mom doesn't have to cook. That's a double present for her.

Happy New Year HL Collectors! John and I gave each other a trip to Florida to see our sons in Jacksonville! It was the best gift ever - and our first year of "empty nest". They gave us the Statue of Liberty HL and on our trip back home we stopped at a very cold and wet Tybee Island and St. Simons. Does it get any better?

My daughter and son-in-law gave me Eldred Rock and a few other items from a trip they made to Lighthouse Depot. My son gave me a couple lighthouse calendars. And I.O., who had already given me a bunch of money, gave me the navy lighthouse cardigan sweatshirt which looks a lot better hanging on the back of the chair than the one it replaced!

As a teacher, I received many items with lighthouses on them. I loved each one. I even got a box of Scotties (tissues) with a lighthouse on it.

We took our oldest son and his family to California for Christmas. We saw old and new Pt. Loma and Point Vicente. To top this off, we went whale watching with grandsons. What a wonderful way to spend Christmas, gradsons, lighthouses and whales.
