 Alcatraz is it a Glow or is it LE? Please Help

I was reading in the glossary about If I am understanding this right...That Alcatraz was first listed as a Glow then decided to retire this peice because of collecters opinions. I am very interested in the Alcatraz (my favorite light) peice and found one today but turned it down because it was a Glow piece.
The peice was marked 407 which is a Glow number but it said they later changed the number to 177 to retire it does this make it worth more if it is one of the first one and how can I be sure. was there 2 Alcatraz Glow peices made maybe one at a later date?
