Do the special Gold items such as Three Sisters,
St Augustine and the others have HL numbers and Flag numbers like the Gold Golden Gate Bridge (HL 663G)

Harry,
My Gold SE Block on the Move does not have a flag number; my Gold Golden Gate Bridge does. Don't know about the others.

As far as I know, the Golden Gate Bridge is the only GOLD with a Flag Number. The rest do not. Now watch someone prove me wrong.

This leads me to a question: Do the Gold and regular GGBs share a set of numbers? i.e., the 500 gold lights are #1-500, and 501+ are the regular lights. Or are there #1-500 for the gold and then #1-whatever for the regular?

And then that leads to...and I don't want you to try and figure this out by experiment wink ...underneath the gold, is there the regular paint colors?

It appears the special GOLD items do not have a Flag number. Do they have a HL number ??

Harry,
The HL Product History lists SE Block on the Move as HL 662 (an Event piece) and Golden Gate Bridge as HL 663 (a Collectors Society piece). The Golden Gate Bridge piece has HL 663G on both the box and the sculpture; the SE Block on the Move piece does not have anything on either the box or the sculpture.

Greg, there is not a regular painted piece under the gold, the gold pieces are cast in metal (pewter I think) and then they are plated in gold.

You are correct they are pewter, plated with gold. Judging by their weight, I would say they are solid. I do wonder if they use the same mold that they use to cast the regular cold-cast resin pieces.
