While in the process posting whether or not my pieces have lightning rods or not, I noticed that Hatteras & Coquille are not on the list. Were all of them made with lightning rods? Just wondering why they aren't here. Also was wondering what the rods are made of, and can they be replaced, when there was obviously a place for it?

Noelle,
Yes, every piece made for both Coquille and Hatteras had a lightning rod.
The early HLs had a (steel?) wire rod. Later, that was replaced by a (nylon?) bristle.
If you have a piece that has a hole for a rod (but the rod is missing), contact Harbour Lights directly. They'll be happy to send a replacement rod out to you.

All you need Noelle is your own wire and stiff bristle brush to replace a lightning rod. It also helps to have a hole in the top of the piece.
The Ancient Mariner You can't learn withpout asking questions, Noelle, so don't take offense at this.
