Well after all this time(seems like years) I finally got an answer to my post for wanting a Green Water Michigan City. I got an email from a gentleman in Michigan who had moved a year or two ago and finally got around to unpacking his extra Harbour Lights. He had a Canadian GW Michigan City(white Castle box and lightning rod) that he was willing to sell at a very good price. The piece arrived yesterday in all it's "ugly glory"(my least favorite of all pieces) with a fantastic job of early antiquing and in perfect condition. This piece(#525) is now sitting proudly amongst my Green waters Minot's Ledge, New London Ledge and Barnagat. This has surly been an expensive and fantastic holliday season getting both the GW Michigan City and the three British Isle pieces. This has revived my interests(maybe only tempoarily) and I also decided to keep buying them all(LE only) for at least another 6 months.

Congratulations, Rich! Finally, you found one! Glad to see that it temorarily revived your interest...I find this latest HL release hard to pass up for my "fantasy collection"! So, do you now have all the GWs? I'm not completely clear on the whole green water thing.

Congrats, Rich! The one I have is flag #572. I do have a question for you. Mine has a lot of gray accents in the green water as compared to the other green water pieces I have. Is yours the same way? Bob

Congratulations, Rich. I guess the old adage that good things come to those who wait came true. Enjoy your latest addition.

Congratulation Rich Besides just finding a GW Michigan Rich found one with original Castle studios box, the Maple leaf under it and one with a fairly low number. Rich What color is the felt? Is it the gray or green?

Bob, my GW Michigan City does have a grey tint to it with a lot of white "foam" throughout the mixture of blue/green. Daniel, it has green felt that does not come to the edges on the bottom. To answer your question Greg, there are 4 GWs(Michigan City, Barnegat, New London Ledge and Minot's Ledge). The green water on the Michigan City is the one with the blue/green splotches with grey and white throughout the water. The others basically have a dark green coloring all throught the water. And then there's my one other oddball New London Ledge with teal water. Kim says it was the artist's doing their thing when I asked how did that happen.
