If you wanted to buy that Bill Doll but kept putting it off because you felt there was no hurry. Or you just didn’t give it any thought. Well it may be the only way to find one will be on E-bay or a store that bought some extras. The Bill Doll is retired. Yes, John I read your wed-site. The Bill Doll was not required auto shipment so a lot of dealers didn’t stock it. It's possible that they were not very plentiful.
What do you think?

Will the Lobster floats be next?

Daniel

I believe that a reliable source once told us in a chat that the initial order was for 4000 Bill Dolls. 250 of these were made into Pirate Bill Dolls for the Atlanta show. Of those 187 were given out and the remaining Pirate Bill's were destroyed. All of the remaining dolls have been shipped from Harbour Lights. Perhaps R@R can start tracking those left in stores.

Maybe 4,000 was produced, but I bet 4,000 was never purchased by the dealers.

Daniel

I stand corrected
The beany Bill doll retired at 4,000
They must all be up north. They are not here in north Florida

for the record......I visited two stores, today, that are HL Dealers....and I saw 8 "Bill Dolls" on the shelves. All were selling at the regular price of 10 bucks each.

The Bill dolls are out there. I doubt HL has any more in house. My daughter wanted one at Rosemont, and we took the last one they had on display. I believe it was Maureen who told us that they had no more in stock. We did see several this past weekend at Milly's Hallmark in Pensacola during their Bill event. They even got Bill to sign them, so give 'em a call - 904-474-0913. Tell them we sent you.

Harbour Lights should stick to what they do best, ...lighthouses!

Just my unbiased opinion, Paul! Harbour Lights are the best and I just don't see the need for a Bill doll.

Feel free to help yourself to a few smiley faces!

That's the word from the East Coast where we're having a little drizzle and 25-30 knot winds from the northeast. Waves are running anywhere from 5'-12' depending who's report you listen to.
