OK, I went to see some friends this weekend and check out three lights, here's the story:
Sunday, went on whale watch tour that "usually" goes by Angel's Gate, no whales or lighthouse. frown
This morning went to Point Fermin & Point Vincente:
Point Fermin under renovation and had construction fence all around it! and the haze made a picture of Angel's gate tough!
Point Vincente is a Coast Guard station, hence no entry, frown but a great picture from the park just out front laugh
But it was all fun, because I got to spend time with good friends! I will post some pictures when I get them developed!

Man they aren't finished with Pt. Fermin yet? The restoration was underway last October when I.O. was there. From his photos I thought it looked pretty good then....other than the lantern room being off.

(And yes, his photos were the developed kind too! wink )

AZL,
No whales or lighthouse? That defines REFUND for me. I have a pic of Angels Gate if your interested.

...get them developed.

You must be one of those OLD cameras that require that orange plastic stuff...I think it was called film. Right Gary? :p Just Kidding!

I just got a new camera and it requires film. Making the jump to an SLR was enough without going digital. Besides, all new digital cameras cannot connect to my old computer (and I don't want to upgrade that, either).

They tell you only a 90% chance for whales on the ticket booth, and no refunds if the mammals elude them, my guess is they should invest in sonar!! This was the second whale watch tour I found. At the first one, the guy behind the ticket counter was sound asleep, wonder how he pays the bills???!!
And yes, I still have the old 35mm camera that is about 15 years old, you know the one where you have to load the film manually.... I would love to have a state of the art digital but I would have to give up my HLs to accomplish it. frown Maybe, someday, when the economy and the market recovers or I get a second job, I will be able to update my equipment!
