A few more pictures from our Maine Lighthouse trip two weeks ago. These are of the Fort Point Lighthouse.
This is the keepers house and tower. It appears to be a private family living there at this time. They were very friendly and welcoming. Please note that beautiful Fourth order Fresnel in the lantern room. Wish I could have gone up to see it, but it was not to be.

Sharon is peeking in the old oil house, now a storage room. Fine condition.
THis light was unique in a way that it still had its bell tower in place. The striking mechanism was gone but the tower and the bell were both in place.
