For those traveling to Virginia in June for the Tidewater trip, here's a small preview of some of the lights you'll be seeing...

Newport News Middleground

Old Point Comfort at Fort Monroe

Thimble Shoals

New Cape Henry

Old Cape Henry

And certainly, lots of Coast Guard laugh

Anyone have a photo of the Chesapeake Tower and Cape Charles lights?

Thanks Tom. The June trip will be here before you know it. I'm looking forward to it too! laugh

Glad you like the string of logos. I had to have help with that.

Thanks for the pictures, Judy. We are all getting very excited in anticipation. I agree that your logos look pretty cool. BTW, I can't believe I've passed you in number of posts - you were one of the ones rooting for me when I was trying to make Super Wacko!

Glad you guys like the photos! Wait 'til you see these lights up close and personal!

I'm truly looking forward to this event, and meeting a lot of you for the first time. It will also be a joy to see you experience these lights if it's your first visit.

Grace, I'm just not racing anymore. I wanted to reach Super Wacko status quickly, but once there, I simply just made a personal commitment to stay active. That's pretty easy to do, because the Collectors Forums cover a wide range of topics and...well, I'm a talkative type person, having dealt with the public in a business way most of my adult life.

Now, if you were to look over on Lighthousing.net, I presently have 3589 posts. That's because I'm a 'forum moderator' and have been involved with that site as 'staff' since it's birth, fall of '02.

Nice Pictures, I especially like the reflection of Old Cape Henry.

Terrific shot, Judy. Gosh, the waiting is killing us all, isn't it? Dave, anymore info? It would be fun to see a list of all the participants - just talking out loud. Dave has too much to do already! wink

Thanks Grace smile
Planning spring and early summer lighthousing adventures helps to make the winter shorter. wink

The occasional spring like day in the middle of winter that also becomes an unexpected lighthousing adventure, is a true gift. That's what last Thursday was like. I also stopped at Cape Henry that day. The photos I took on that stop turned out fuzzy, but the time spent was great.
