One word: SPECTACULAR!!! The post card companies should be beating down your door to get permission to use those photos. Bob

Cary,
Very nice photos. Esther and I just saw many of these same lighthouses in June.
It's always nice to relive trips= even if they are only a couple of months old.

Thanks everyone Dennis - I meant to tell you that I stayed at the Bar Harbor Motel and saw that you had posted a review on TripAdvisor. Small world

Cary,
Were you as pleased as we were with the Bar Harbor Motel?
It seemed like a very nice place to us- although it was a bit too cool in June for the pool.
I'm very pleased with the info on Trip Advisor. I've been using it for 4-5 years now and have not gotten truly burned yet.You just have to learn how to read some people's reviews, though

Dennis Hi Dennis, Yes, we were happy with the BH Motel. My only 2 minor complaints were that we were in a room next to where the staff washed bedding (so it was a bit loud), and there were a couple of bugs in the bathroom at various times, including a cricket, an ant, and spiders. They must have gotten in through a crack near the window or something. Other than that, the room was very spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly. Cary

Nice job! I love the clouds in some of those. Glad you made it out to see the puffins. Did you do the tour out of Jonesport or Cutler?

Hi Tammy, Thanks I've gone out of Cutler the past 2 times...tried Jonesport the first time. I just find the trips out of Cutler to be more enjoyable - plus you get to see Little River Light Cary
