I went to Michigan City this morning to get a few pictures of the old lighthouse with snow as depicted in the Christmas 2001 piece. The snow was now quite hard, as it was very wet snow when it came down the other day and now refrozen, making it impossible for me to build a snowman for pictures.

I just looked at this thread with my browser built in to AOL and once again I see just how crappy things look with AOL. I normally run a Netscape browser, I also looked at it with MSIE 5.5 and it looked like waterlogged pictures with that too. If you are not seeing clear, sharp pictures you might want to download a Netscape browser and see the real pictures, I run Netscape Communicator 4.79 or Netscape 6.2, but the 4.79 loads faster than any of the others listed. If you are running AOL or another browser built into you ISP's software you can still use a secondary browser by minimizing your ISP's software after signing on then launching Netscape. http://home.netscape.com/download/index.html?cp=dju1

I'm on MSIE and the pics look fine on this laptop for whatever that's worht.
And the other lighthouse is the Michigan City pier light that replaced the older light that is now a museum.

Nice to see the two lights in the same photo Mark. Gives those of us who've never been there a better idea of how they are situated, thanks.
