Anyone have an opinion as to whether the Cape Henry lighthouses are best photographed in the morning or the afternoon?

One of the shots that may people take is of the new tower from the lantern room of the old tower, which is a better afternoon shot. I would think you could get good pictures either way as most of your shots will come from somewhere between the two. They are situated in an east-west position.
