The original thread is over its limit, thus the new thread.

However, a couple of responses from that thread really need to be further discussed:

Dave,

I'm appalled at your inconsistency. Normally when we go this far off topic you steer us back to the original point. laugh

It wouldn't happen to be because you just a dirty old man at heart, would it? laugh

Do you have any tatoos you can make dance?

Dennis

Actually, Dennis, I'm thinking maybe we can get Lorie to wear her outfit to the Reunion, which will be a part of her lighthousing plans for 2005. If the weather doesn't work out in our favor maybe the Straits will have a covering of ice and Lorie would feel right at home . . . .

Wondering just where this appeared on Lorie's uniform?

"Go-Go Golden Eagles!"

This may be totally incorrect, but I heard that 30 years ago some of the Salt Lake Golden Eagles "hockey girls" had the logo tattooed on their ______s. Is this true Lorie?

If true, I would definitely want a picture.

If false, I would definitely want a picture.

Either way, I’m already sorry I made this post.

It's a good thing that John doesn't read the forums too much... I could get in trouble.

In answer to Greg's questions...I still don't know much about hockey but I did go to the Olympic hockey game between USA & Canada. I have some Salt Lake Olympic pins if you want one.

John Chidester...that was the team. But Bob...no tatoos!

This will go way back too but I was also a Utah Stars ABA (basketball) "Stars Girl". It 's amazing to look back and think what skimpy outfits we had to wear.

Sorry...but I don't have any pictures. We weren't allowed to take our uniforms outside of the Salt Palace.

Lorie,

To go back 30 years to when you were an "Eagles Hockey Girl" and a "Stars Girl" you must have been about 3 years old at the time.

Dave, Ofcourse I can't say anything about Lorie as I've never met her. I guess it's posible that she could have kept her girlish figure. But 30 years is 30 years and mother nature can sure do a lot to a girl in that length of time.

30 years ago I would ware my Daisy Duke short shorts and a halter top and looked purity good in them too.... even if I do say so myself. But you wouldn't want to see that now! 30 years later my breast are sagging, my gut is bulging and my butt has gone flat, not to mention the addition of about 45 pounds. It would be enough to make a person sick. eek eek eek

Lorie, I sure hope that Mother Nature has been kinder to you than she has to me! wink

Lorie,

I don’t understand why you would say that we should forget about the hockey games! It’s been the most titillating subject that I’ve seen on the Forum in a long time. And just think about all the interest and the thought provoking comments that have been posted.

Boy, did I get in on the wrong end of the train or what?? eek eek

I don't know if I should be the last to comment, or the first to re-direct us on topic wink !

Anyway, I'm thinking that our plans for vaca- tion(s) will carry us to Bald Head and Oak Island, NC; then after a few days in Myrtle Beach, maybe to Hunting Island, SC on the way to Savannah, GA and Tybee Island; then, on the second one, go through NJ where we will try and see some if they aren't too far off the beaten path on the way to Portsmouth Harbor, NH, then into Maine to Lighthouse Depot and at least Cape Neddick (Nubble); then into the White Mountains of NH. Now, obviously, that's alot of travel for 9 or 10 days, but what lights along the way (other than NC and Sullivan's Island which we've seen) are close to the best path of travel from the SE coast of VA? We've been to Portland and up to Bar Harbor about eek 10 yrs. ago (sheesh, that long confused ), so we're not going much further than Wells (or Biddiford) and don't have time to take those 1/2 day excursions (like Pemaquid), nor take boat trips either.

Any ideas, suggestions? Someone suggested saving time over I-95 and taking the Lewes Ferry to save time, but though that takes us up by several lights, and would be more relaxing, to me, that's adding time!?!

Steve
