I figured we have an MD thread, so why not start an NJ thread? I'm curious to see who I'll get to meet this year. I'll be volunteering at Sea Girt this year Sunday only - I have the PSATs on Saturday. Trust me, if I could take the PSATs any other weekend, I would, but they only hold them once. Dennis will be there Sunday too, although I don't think HE'S taking the PSATs.  So...who are we going to get to meet? I'll have my Wacko badge with me, although I'll probably be in the lantern room (I like to sit up there and point stuff out.) So if you want to meet me, and aren't planning on climbing the light, let someone downstairs know that you want to see me, so that they can call me down. I've missed several people in the past because they didn't climb.

You are correct sir-Esther and I will be volunteering for the NJLHS at Sea girt on Sunday afternoon.
I'm planning on completeing the challenge before I report. Still not sure if Esther will be joining me on Saturday, thouhg.
We plan at this point to do the MD challenge and my intent is to complete the Triple Crown.

We can get to Tinicum at opening time with no problem. I expect to have everything except Sea Girt, Sandy Hook and Navesink done on Saturday- might not get to Barnegat but I'm going to try. Dennis

Joe, You're right it is possible to do it tin one day- but I wouldn't want to. You don't get much out of it that way. I've been to all of the Lighthouses before so I won't climb most of them- I just want to remove all doubt as to wether or not I'm a true Wacko and do all 3 of the challenges in one eyar. I'm sure there already isn't much doubt of my Wacko status.  Dennis

My husband Jim and I will be doing the NJ Challenge...probably only in one day. If we have to we can finish up Sunday morning and leave to go back to Florida from there. I'm not sure we'll want to climb all the lighthouses, so that will save some time too. Cathy
