Once again, Jen, thanks for sharing even more great pictures with all the folks at the CF. I've never been to Michigan and I've never seen any of those lights before today. Keep those great photos coming! Bob

Thanks to all. I've actually been around for awhile, mostly a lurker, and I also had to change my user-id since my email address changed and I couldn't remember my old password. I'm glad everyone enjoyed them. I have many more Michigan UP lights and will try to get those up in the near future. I know some of these are not as visited as others, so it's always nice to try and get them some attention. ------------------ Jen

Great pictures Jen! I especially like the picture of East Channel Light. Is there any work going on to restore this one? From the picture, it looks the same as it has for years. Hopefully this one can still be fixed up and brought back to its original beauty!

Jen, Great picture of Crisp Point. When did you take the picture? The lighthouse looks in better shape than it did when we were there in 1998. It was the fall after the building portion had been destroyed by Lake Superior and the people had not started to bring in the rock to try to save the tower before winter set in.

The picture of Crisp Point was from this past July. 98 was the last time I had been back there too, and I walked back and said, "WOW!". The tower received a new coat of paint, and they opened the road the last 500 foot and created a parking lot. They have also planted a bunch of pine trees around the light to help with erosion. Much prettier, isn't it? Originally posted by 2beacons: Jen, Great picture of Crisp Point. When did you take the picture? The lighthouse looks in better shape than it did when we were there in 1998.
