I got an email from these folks - I'm going to try to make this event!
On Saturday, June 19th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Second Anniversary Celebration will be held at the Visitor Center.

Food and beverages
Live Music
Raffles
The U.S. Coast Guard, to offer tours up the tower!
The Postal Service, on hand with a unique cancellation designed for the occasion.
How to get there: Take U.S. Rt. 1 to Whiting, take Rt.189 east to Lubec. Turn where it is signed to Quoddy Head State Park and after 2.8 miles, bear left. Go to the end of the road.

The Art Gallery shows local artists’ work for sale at affordable prices.
Volunteers are on hand to answer your questions and satisfy your curiosity.
Marblehead, Mass. Lighthouse, you will always have a very special place in our hearts. ....We've made the journey as far south as New Jersey, as far north as Canada. Over 100 lighthouses visited.... and so many more to go.
