Between Hooper Straits and Turkey Point we got a distance view of Sharps Island Lighthouse (a big dot on the picture, so I did not download).

After this picture we walked on the water front and could see Fishing Battery in the distance (it is only a dot on the film, so I did not download it).

Hey Judy, I accidently got my foot in one picture a few years ago and after that it was on purpose.
I am jealous, you got to climb Cape Lookout.

Looks like you had nice weather Eric. I did the inaugural MD. challange (along with my daughter and grand daughter) and the weather was terrible on the first day. Got soaked and full of mud (if memory serves me right) at Turkey Pt. But we did have a great time. Thanks for the pictures.

Judy, there are 2 Erics on here from Florida. I am the Eric who took that picture of Cape Lookout, and no I do not have any problem with it being reposted.

Eric (Weasel), I am so glad you cleared that up. I could not put my finger on it, but I knew there was definitely something wrong with that post. I remember when you posted that picture.

Sorry, but I added to the confusion. I thought Judy was addressing me and not Eric (Weasel). I should have known that those shoes were not likely Judy's. ANY WAY, Eric (Weasel)joined the Florida Lighthouse Association about the same time I did, so we have had many talks at meetings and we went on a couple lighthouse trips together outside the Florida Lighthouse Association.

Tom, you are right - Eric had much nicer weather than the first day of the initial MD Challenge. We ran the route opposite of the way you did. Turkey Point was a sea of mud Saturday, but was a little better by Sunday afternoon.
