Here are some photo's from our first lighthouse trip back in September. We decided Barnagat Light should be the first we visited since it's the closes to home.

Sure looks like you better watch wear you were walking or you could slip between those rocks. eek

The pictures all from the same day? Looks like you had quite the variety of clouds. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Not too many pictures of Barnegat seem to get posted here.

If you had to pick a first one to visit, Barnegat is a good one.

Barnegat is kind of a sentimental favorite of our family. We went there after the Baltimore reunion, and it was the first time that our then 10 month old daughter acknowledged when we asked "where's the lighthouse" and she pointed at it. A future lighthouse fan was born.

There all from the same day. When we first arrived it looked like we could get some rain. By the time we toured the lighthouse, all the dark clouds had passed. The rest of the photo's are taken after we climbed Barnegat Light.

Very nice pictures Lighthouse Loon.
Especially like the effect the different cloud formations add to the picures.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us.

Barnegat may have been your first lighthouse visit, but I bet you'll find yourself returning again and again. Some lights just have that lure, and Barnegat is definitely one of them. How lucky you are to live close by.

Looking forward to more of your lighthousing adventures!
