Derith "Pixie" is one of the original members of the Forums.. She has a talent for getting into lights that seem almost impossible to get into.. She was one of the founding members of the Tampa Bay HL club, I could go on and on but let's just say Sue and I are proud to have her as a good friend..  Reposting the image of Bob after he climbed Cedar (Seahorse) Key light..  Sandy, Derith "Pixie" is shown here taking a picture of me taking a picture of her at Cedar (Seahorse) Key light..

She built a new account after being off the boards for a while. Derith went by the user name "Nana" and had been around since the preforum days.
She has a great way with people and can get access to a lot of "off limits" lights just by being herself. Also she takes being told "No" as a challenge.

Question...For Amelia Island, did you take the tour, or were you brave enough to cross that wooded lot?
I'm going back to Florida in August, and I hope to get good pictures of Amelia Island, Mayport, and St. Johns.

The town now gives tours of Amelia Island. The lightkeepers daughter gave us a presentation and then told us some great stories. They opened up the LH but you couldn't climb. They took us back and forth by a town van.
There are houses and streets all around and I didn't see anything to stop you from driving right up to take a photo.
