Another business trip to Chicago... I've seen the two by the Navy Pier and Grosse Point a little up north. Any others within a days drive? Maybe Wisconsin? Anybody have any information to help me on my travels. It's much appreciated.

Carol, How about Kenosha's lights (and I'm sorry...someone help me out here, even living in WI I am having a "gray moment")... I cannot remember their names, and Wind Point in Racine WI just a bit north of Kenosha. All in a days drive of Chicago. I think to go further on up to Milwaukee would be pushing it. Hope that helps some, Pam

Carol,
For good driving directions, try Ken and Barb Wardius' book on Wisconsin Lighthouses. I used their directions last summer and had no problems getting to the lights. Many as in the case of Kenosha are very close together, these would be the Old Southport Lighthouse and the Kenosha North Pierhead. Make sure to check out the interesting iron work door on the Southport Lighthouse.
