OK... I know what you're thinking: "What a cheap rip-off of VH1's popular and wildly successful show 'Behind the Music'" Right? RIGHT! However, the show must go on! So now:

HL1's "Behind the Lights" presents....

The Buffington Harbor Breakwater Light Story.

In 1926, the Buffington Harbor Breakwater Light was built on the tip of Lake Michigan in Gary, Indiana. The red light, which is fifty feet tall, is still active. It is now a private aid to navigation, guiding the two casino boats which are docked in the harbor, and the occasional ship which comes to the stone dock there. This light marks the last harbor that the CARL D. BRADLEY saw before she sank on her last trip on November 18, 1958.

This is also my testing grounds for this little project of mine. So this is only the first part of HL1's "Behind the Lights" series.

Stay tuned for "Pop Up Wackos and Saints"
