The March, 2000 Lighthouse Digest Magazine was tucked inside my mailbox just waiting for me to see what great stories were inside this issue. Eaton's Neck, NY, Currituck Beach, NC, Boca Grande, FL, Port Townsend, WA, Point Conception,CA, and Old Point Loma,CA(the LE of this light was my first HL)had either long articles or updates on the restoration work being done there. I have been blessed to view them all, up close and so enjoyed reliving my trips as I was reading the articles.

For the second edition in a row, patches have been shared that have a lighthouse on them. Our Mike Seewald sent in one last month with Old Field, NY and this month Buffalo Light is represented on a patch.

The Rothman's Report about HL reminded my of the "Made in Canada" prizes that might be in your curio. Remember my find back in Jan.? One of them was this model.

Hope you have a subscription to the magazine. If not call 800-758-1444 and order you a great monthly magazine today.

You are absolutely right, Nana....its a very good magazine!! I've been getting it for a number of years, now. Tim Harrison and all the folks up there in Wells, Maine do a great job!! 'One problem....I haven't gotten my March issue, yet! 'Always look forward to getting the next one......

I love the magazine also. I have gotten my March issue- at least part of it. It was missing 10 pages. I hope to get a replacement for them soon. I have a plea to the powers that be to send me the rest. Dennis

I finally received my issue, yesterday, and all I can say is...."it was worth the wait"!! Dennis....out of curiosity what 10 pages were you missing? My March issue has a total of 43 pages....which is about normal. Along with the fine articles that Nana mentioned....check out the short story (w/photo) on page 39 concerning the "Lighthouse Oil Company" building that once stood on Rt. 6 in New Bedford, Ma. Its ashame that something as interesting as that had to be torn down.
