Today we drove across NH and VT... you can't drive across NH and VT, you can drive North and South but we wound around through the two states and really enjoyed the day even though it was raining and overcast for much of the day..

We came in to this town and the whole town was having a yard sale...

They had a couple of live weed-eaters in this one booth area...

Lunch was a step back into time at the Diner!!

We are enjoying some time with the Johnson's tonight then on the road to Ohio tomorrow and then "Back Home Again in Indiana" on Monday..

I see you stopped at the Yankee Diner. We use to have a "Yankee Diner" in my town way back when. As a matter of fact we had several diners, one of which is still in operation. It used to be the Minuteman Diner on Rte 1 in North Attleboro. Then it was moved to Plainville, Mass. to replace a smaller diner. Now it's called Don's Diner and it's still in operation today.

Another diner that I use to frequent was called "Uncle Will's Diner" in Shrewsbury Mass. I worked that area for fourteen years starting in the early 70's. "Uncle Will's Diner" was eventually sold and I was told it was moved to Montreal and reopened as the "Galaxy Diner". Anyone traveling through that area ever see it up there.

Now back to the Yankee Diner, I kind of wonder if that one was the one from North Attleboro you show in your picture. It looks exactly the same as the one I remember. Maybe they just manufactured a bunch of them that looked alike.

Anyone know?

Sunday Sept. 28th

We headed Southwest from Auburn, NY right through the middle of New York's wine country...

The grape's look about ready to pick..

One last flower image before we arrive in Indy tomorrow...

More and more leaves are changing as we go along the road..

Speaking of the road... it was mostly blue skies and white fluffy clouds on the road today..

Home!

Only one image to post today...

What a Great Trip!!! It started off that way with a bunch of great friends at the Long Island Regional and it just kept getting better and better!

For those who like figures... 3507 miles for the total round trip!

Memories priceless!!!
