If you are entering any purchases in the contest, here are a few rules:

1. It must be a lighthouse

2. Anchor Bay (including lightships) ain't a lighthouse.

3. Keepers and Friends don't make it either.

4. It does not have to be bought from a registered dealer. Secondary market is acceptable if you have a receipt.
----------LATEST WORD FROM HL.----------------
IT HAS TO BE A RETAIL DEALER
there goes the trifecta I had set up with two others: I sell mine to B; who sells it to C; who in turn sells back to me. We all get a double handful of receipts. No shipping. No sales tax. Of course B and C are doing the same thing with their collections that I'm doing with mine. How about each piece for $0.01 each. You'll never find CH1 or Coquille cheaper than that.

5. Only those receipts that fall into the correct time frame are acceptable.
....Jan1 to Mar 31(?)
....Those wonderful Christmas presents don't ........qualify

6. Since I expect to be one one of the winners (I married Lou and that tells you that I am one lucky fellow), good luck to the rest of you if there is more than one prize.

7. For those of you who have one of everything to date. Here's what to look for
LEs St Marks, Cape Agulha and White River
Glows - Assateague, Key West, and of course Montauk
Doubtful but possible Big Sable and Hillsboro

Hey Fred,
When you refer to "B" & "C" could you posssibly mean the most famous duo since Abbott & Costello? Since Martin & Lewis? Since the Smothers Brothers? Since Zigfired & Roy? Since Mutt & Jeff?

Who am I refering to? Why no other than the famous duo of Chidester & Brady! They would probably do anything to come out #1 in this contest.

Remember, win or lose, it's how many Harbour Lights you collect in the process that really matters.

So where can I find information in this Harbour Lights Contest? Both dealers I have visited didn't have anything and so far I haven't been able to find anytrhing on the website.

What are the rules? Where do you send the receipts and what are the prizes?

Thanks for more info.

Hi Dave. For each Harbour Lights lighthouse you purchase and register between January 1,1999, and March 31, 1999, you get a a chance to win prizes.

Info is on the Harbour Lights site through the 'Frames' menu. I don't believe dealers have any info, but you can click on this shortcut.

Even if the retail dealer is not informed, the best bet is to be sure and get an itemized receipt that shows the date and the specific Harbour Lights purchased.

Information about the drawing is in the Lighthouse Legacy newsletter and on the web site (see Tim's link above.)
