White sky in the afternoon Photographers take warning!!

Yep it was overcast and foggy all day today... except for one stop... I will let you guess which stop we actually had 5 minutes of blue skies!!



The first stop was for breakfast and a great oyster omlette... if fact it was a "Brady Oyster" omlette... I didn't know that we owned a huge oyster company out here with our own oyster beds...



Grey skies for Gray's Harbor...



We met some really nice people working at the North Head lighthouse plus picked a very nice commorative coin..



Shot this image from the Lewis & Clark interperative center at Ft Canby..



Blue Skies nothing but Blues Skies.... at least for a whole ten minutes at the Lightship Columbia and the Columbia Maritime Museum which is well worth the stop...



You can make out Tillamook lighthouse through the fog, if you already know what it looks like from owning the HL version...



We got to Cape Meares at around 6pm and the lighthouse closes at 4pm but it was well worth the visit.... the lighthouse is in Great condition and seeing that fresnel makes the .2 mile walk down down and back to the light from the parking lot a snap...



Of course the return trip to the parking lot is all up hill.... so stops along the way to shoot pictures of the plant life are welcomed stops...
