While in New Hampshire for a family visit, we took a quick one day trip into Maine and visited Nubble again and made our first trip to see Whaleback from Fort Foster. Very nice setting.
Also ran up to Wells to visit the Lighthouse Depot. While standing in front of the Harbour Lights display I started talking to the couple next to me, and was surprised to be asked if I ever visited the Harbour Lights chat. It turned out to be VTer and his wife, who left all the cows at home, and came down to visit Maine. Paul promises to join us again soon in the chat room. You can never tell where you will find our fellow wackos.
