I was wondering if there are rumors of a revision of Cape Hatteras GLOW now that it has moved. The current piece situated so close to the water is now inaccurate. It would appear that some more bushes and trees will need sculpted into a revision as well, don't you think? [This message has been edited by DocJ44 (edited 08-09-99).]

Doc,
I've heard rumors on this forum of a Hatteras on the move LE, not a glow. Maybe St. John can search the archieves for us on this issue.

BY told me himself on Mother's Day that there would definitely be a Cape Hateras on the move. I'm sure there is an old thread on this! And here it is! http://216.46.163.97/forums/Forum14/HTML/000014.html [This message has been edited by rscroope (edited 08-10-99).]

Fwiw - there is a search link in the upper right - 'archive' searching is accessible to all.

I think Harbour Lights needs to ask itself only one question. Will this piece sell? Even a rocket scientist can figure that one out.

Whatever they produce, it should include the keeper's quarters, oil storage, and landscaping. A light on a pole just doesn't cut it for me. I have a Hatteras GLOW and it definately is not one of my favorite pieces. I purchased it because I've climbed it and live near it, not for the piece's aesthetic value.

I have the limited edition ternabout. It has sentimental value...as well as secondary market value...but it is not one of the more attractive pieces. Your comments about the GLOW apply to the LE piece as well. Perhaps more detail can be added to a new edition to enhance the beauty of the piece.

Do we have spies checking this stuff out? I feel like I've been reading Nostradamus.
