I Attended the meeting of the tampa bay club last night with B.Y. also there he gave a very good presentation in his talk.He digressed a bit from lights.I had a talk with derith about this idea I have had about getting more kids involved and some of the words from the mouth of B.Y.centered around the same subject personified in a 12 year old girl there.More on this later.B.Y.made a statement about the deal with lighthouse depot and the production of Ft.washington.He said with the business climate today we may hear of the house of younger producing famous buildings other than lights But the production of lights will be separate and the same as always.He stated the coming year will bring change and some interesting changes are promised for every one.he said we dont all have lights to look upon but some of us have buildings of much historical value to the local comunity and some of these deserve a build up locally but on a different level than our precious light and in the future you may see other products to help with sales.this after all is a business.
On the subject of another reunion he said only it would be more than a year away other wise we would be registering now.Well folks these may not be all rumors But this is the latest from B.Y.sounds like an interesting year coming.

Thanks for taking the time to share that info with us, Bill. If everytime Bill Y. speaks, and one of the Wackos is listening and can report back to us, we should have a good idea of what's going on with Harbour Lights.

I am so sorry I didn't know about the Tampa Bay meeting the other night. I would have liked to attend to see BY and also some of the other special people I met at the reunion, particularly Derith.
Where are the meetings held and how often?

I just got an Email tonite from a friend they have been on a trip and a visit to 1 of the trade shows.They said that the word is aroung that by years end Lefton one of the bigger companies will be no more.Bill O'Brien

They meet every 3 months and are a load of fun Drop Derith an Email and she not only can but will fill you in I sat by her at the meeting and of course she always takes home a good prize.Bill O'Brien She is also a great person and light lover

We welcome anyone, whether you are from Florida or another state and just happen to be in the area. All you have to be is in a HL state of mind!!!

Seems I spoke to several couples at the Reunion who are moving close enough, real soon, to come to our meetings and to help with the preservation project. One of the purposes, other than preservation of Anclote Key, is to have fun....and we certainly do!!!

HL always sends great prizes....and we love those entry tickets and raffle tickets. I was happy to see so many new folks at the meeting and in particular...Howard Bryant, who is lurking somewhere out there..he'll join the forums soon...Right, Howard?

Looks like I started something again as in another posting just before the reunion I thoughtit would be a one shot deal but it really ballooned at least they get people posting.Bill O'Brien

I realy wanted to visit your club's meeting while I was in Florida. I especially wanted to meet all of the incredibly nice people there. If I would have stayed for the meeting I would have been traveling on my wife's birthday, which was Friday. After what she has just been through with the cancer scare, I wouldn't miss her birthday for all of the Harbour Lights in the world. I'll be back that way again in the future. Hopefully when you are meeting again. sounds like a great group, and a great cause. Anclote Key Light. Keep up the great work guys.
