I was able to zoom in close enough to see the tombstones in the Ol' Boneyard. It's a really cool website and lots of fun to locate your favorite lighthouse(s). Yes John, I found Poe Reef!

Tonight I was working on a 1/192nd scale model of a World War II FLETCHER class destroyer, the USS KIDD.

A piece of a .005" brass radar antenna I had been working on flew away into inner space in my workshop. This piece represented about 5 hours of laborious work.

Using your Web site, I was able to zoom in on my workshop floor and locate the lost part!

Thanks for the site digger. Unfortunatly the photo for my city ends about 1 mile short of my house. However I got a good look at hatteras, and Bodie Island Lighthouses. I looked for Currituck , but you can't see the tower, tou can just mak out the keepers house. Bummer.

It's good to hear that many of you find this data application interesting and useful. I'll be sure to pass along these kind words to those I work with that helped get the USGS data into this site. Plans are to continue to fill in the image gaps as data becomes available.

Images cut off a bit before my town also. But then it isn't much of a town. Used to be a one horse town but the horse died.

Mombo. Never have dug a grave for a horse. I have dug up a horse while digging a grave though! Never know where the farmers put them back when it was farmland. I am also compiling a nice antique collection from uncovered trash pits from the previous owners.

Rusty- if you look up Tybee Island, not only can you see Tybee, but you can see Cockspur Island Light as well! It's right in front of Fort Pulaski.

Thanks for the info on Cockspur. Was there and have a few pictures of it. Thought it was so small that I wouldn't see it.
