Whatever happened to the rumor that HL was still going to bring out one more surprise before the year's end. I remember reading it somewhere that Bill said it at one of his signings or at the Western Regional. Has anybody heard anything else on this rumor? Rich

I asked Bill about it at the signing at the Lighthouse Depot a couple weeks back. He told me this was the first he heard about it. Was he being elusive? Did he know something he didn't want to share at this time. If he doesn't reveal it at the Florida Regional, then I would think it isn't going to happen in 2002. Bob

Isn't the East Point, NJ a brand new one?

East Point is new this year Sarge but not brand new having come out this past summer. What's being referred to here is a piece not yet announced, if there is to be one!?

Well, once again I have earned the 'Newbie' tag. What does Harbour Lights do, come out with the new ones one at a time or release the year's offerings all together?

Actually, I believe East Point was a 2001 release. If memory serves me, I think I bought mine before the Reunion last year, then visited it during our post-reunion vaction.

Ironically John has East Point as the featured lighthouse this week at HarbourLights.com ... On the East Point main page it shows it as being released on 6/15/01.

Man, I guess the last year just flew by! The reason East Point's being featured on the HL home page now is because of the upcoming New Jersey Lighthouse Challenge.
Sarge, HL usually announces the years new offerings twice a year, the first half around January I think and the 2nd half in June. Occasionally a piece will also be announced at other times during the year.

I am hoping that there will be one more L.E. for this year and that it will be a surprise at the winter event. If there were a new release, I think it would be a southern Bell, Like the St Johns River Light. We have been promised that one from Bill for two years now.

Amen to that. I have been hoping for St. John's River Light for about 4 years now and from the looks of it elsewhere, several others are looking forward to it. I hope we won't be disappointed and not get it for Christmas. Rich
