At the Atlanta Regional Event, Kim Andrews announced that Harbour Lights would be at the collector’s show in Atlanta in May 6th & 7th.

Could someone that all ready has been to a collector's show tell me what to expect?

My first (and so far only) collectors' show was the Rosemont 99 show. I went there on a charter bus trip arranged by Tricia's Treasures in Fairview Heights, IL. This was considerably cheaper than driving there myself. The disadvantages were: 1) missing the Friday event in Evanston (although even if I drove, I might not have been able to take off work early enough to make that) and 2) being there only on Saturday.
The other negative, or so I thought was not taking any pieces for signing. I didn't want to have to carry them around all day and didn't like the idea of leaving them in the bus for most of the day (even if I could have gotten back to the bus after having them signed), so I didn't take any. I learned after I was there that they had a luggage check available. I don't know if this is common at other shows.
If HL hosts any seminars in conjunction with the show, you don't want to miss it!

Thanks for the tips FrankB. I plan on making the trip to Atlantia a full vacation. Making sure I don't miss any of the H.L. events.

Thanks John I have been looking at some of the past collectors event. Can someone tell me more about Selling, buying & trading H.L. to other collectors. Does that happen at the Collectors events?
