Had the opportunity to hear B.Y. at Mishawaka IN on Thurs the 14th. He spoke to the American Heritage Round Table Club about the history of Light Houses. We hoped to get some new news but no go. When asked, he advised that Coquille is still tabled. We did get to meet several new collectors. There are a lot of people out there that collect HARBOUR LIGHTS but other than the National Club, nothing brings them together. There is a need to get these people together more often.

Few people are more isolated geographically from the lighthouse loving community than I am (except maybe John), so I really appreciate this site. I know the internet is not for everyone (yet). Maybe I'm biased (maybe? LOL), but I think we should actively sell this site at signing events (BY doesn't!) This medium is not a complete substitute for face-to-face human contact, I know, but it does bring people together in a sense. It is certainly more convenient than meeting face-to-face and can open doors to the latter [preaching to the choir].

I ran into several collectors at a signing event last year who have internet access but who were unaware of this site. Legacy has been advertising the site lately, and that's great. But I'll be some of those collectors aren't even CS members. Maybe HL can have

business cards made up for Bill, Nancy & Reps to hand out at the events. Or, we can do it ourselves!

Testing your WACKO mettle,

I was thinking about that too, Art. Maybe a display card to be sent to HL Dealers?

Whoa! Hang on to those Little Big Reds there, Bill!

I like it, John. Get the presses rolling.
