Bill mentioned to a couple of people at the Arizona signings that the "I Love You" Minot's Ledge was 'bobbing in the harbor at Long Beach'. One collector said the main office had told him that they were now in the warehouse.

Expect this as well as the Guardian lights to ship soon.

Delays in the 4th Order were due to plating problems.

And for those who've picked up the most recent Harbour Lights brochure, there is a 'Surprise' listed as "NEW" on that one that we haven't heard of before.

Let's see who can spot that one first...

Would that be the Lighthouse Mugs?

I was hoping you had an upcoming LE to share with us, JC. I saw the coffee mugs in the brochure but I have no desire to buy them. I'm not into buying things with faux lighthouses on them. If they were made with actual representations of real lights on them, I might be interested.

This new product looks like giftware. Something you might find being sold between the plastic lobsters and wooden seagulls at coastal gift shops. Is there anything on it that would make you say this is a Harbour Lights product?

Sorry, Harbour Lights. I'll pass on these mugs. If you put pictures of endangered lighthouses that some day might be made as a limited edition by the greatest lighthouse replica- maker in the world, then I might be interested.

Excuse me, but I'm going to take a break and have a cup of coffee in my "Dutch Island Lighthouse Society" mug.

Nancy spilled a few beans in Mobile too!

Though she was not talking to me I overheard a conversation between her and the shop owner. He was asking when Harbour Lights was going to produce the Sand Island, AL and she told him that it is coming out soon. She did not mention any dates, but I'm hoping for 2003!

I too saw the coffee mugs pictured on the brochure quite some time ago but disregarded them as I do not like seeing HL getting into other "trinky" type of items similar to the previously released acrylic pieces. Anything besides the good old LE's, GLOWs, and other lighthouses pieces are ignored by me.

My coffee mug from Moody's Diner will do anyday! Bah Humbug on all this other stuff!! Who's got the money to buy all this stuff? Lighthouse replicas in the form of LEs, GLOWs, and others is enough!!

The rumor has been around for awhile about St John's River Light coming out soon but it's still not here yet. Never believe a rumor until it materializes in a blue and white Harbour Lights box is my outlook on life.

Rich cool

I've had a couple of experiences with Bill that were clues to a new LE coming out. One time I was in earshot of Bill when someone asked him if Huntington Harbor was coming out soon? He asked me if I knew if that 'one' was coming out soon? I was floored and didn't understand why he asked me? Much later, I realized that he was referring to Cold Spring Harbor (I had provided HL with a copy of a postcard of Cold Spring Harbor which was the adjacent Harbor over from Huntington) when the Society piece came out 6 months later.
