Those with sharp eyes might have noticed something special on the Regional Event button for the Door County event this summer pictured in the latest "Musings":

And this means? What? Talk amongst yourselves.

Okay, my speculations are:

1) A full size LE of this light will be offered as an exclusive at the Door Cty Walk, similar to Bailey's Harbor several years ago.

2) A limited edition LLOM will be offered at the Walk either through the local dealer, or perhaps through the Pottawatomie preservation group.

3) This light will be made for next year's walk.

I would really like to see this light made by Harbour Lights!

This thread got almost no notice when it was started in March.

Wonder if it will draw more interest as the time for the Door County Regional Event draws closer?

There was a lot of discussion about this over the winter.

My guess is either:

1 - Another special edition LLOM of Pottawotmie, with the backstamp. Probably limited to 250 pieces.

or

2 - The final full size LE of this year will be Pottawotmie.

More likely to be #1 as #2 won't be ready till at least September and that would be too late for the event.

I have definitely been waiting for a LE for several years.
Back when the Sturgeon Bay North Pierhead piece was introduced, the local dealer told me that Kim had asked for input for the light for the following year's event piece(Door County Lighthouse Walk). The popular vote was Pottawatomie. Then "the sale" took place and was put on the back burner.
Very excited about this! Either way...LLM or LE...one will be in my collection.

Hmmmm this is starting to make sense. I was speaking to a dealer who mentioned something big was taking place this weekend and to keep my ear to the ground. They wouldn't say what though since they couldn't. Perhaps this is it.

If I can get a signal in from the conference room, otherwise you will have to wait until I get home Saturday night when I post pictures from the event.. It's a 20 minute drive..

We'll it was my guess #1, but Melody really guessed it first.

Congrats Jim!

I really like this piece! Nicely done.... maybe some day, HL will make the full size LE available.

I'm sure this is going to be another good "LLOM w/ Backstamp" seller....
