Besides just drooling over and waiting for the Hendericks Head, ME piece to come out, anybody have any strong leads as to any of the new HL pieces that will be released for the second half of 2002?

Strong leads? No! I'd be disappointed if we didn't get a couple more Long Island Lights.
Cedar Island and Plum Island PLEASE.

And, correct me if I'm wrong...but hasn't it been a while since there was a release from "The Nutmeg State"...?

I'll be selfishly hoping for one this fall.

I suppose a long-overdue Great Lakes Spyglass Set is nowhere in sight as well, especially with the glut of LLOM "giftware" continuing to inundate collectible stores nationwide...

Has the LLOM put Spoontiques out of business yet? In time, would be my guess!

Things have been pretty quiet. Usually there are a couple hints of coming attractions but not in 2002.

Has Kim hung up the "Loose lips, sink ships" sign at 1000 N. Johnson Avenue?

I agree that CT (the Nutmeg State) is long overdue and I would like to see New London Harbor Light (site of the 4th lighthouse in the US), and Avery Point (the only lighthouse built by the USCG as a memorial to lighthouse keepers everywhere).

Randy, that was the first thought I had when I heard about/saw the LLOM's! No comparison for the price, imo. But then maybe all dealers don't carry the little ones. I know mine only took the first 24. And she continues to sell the Spoontiques so there isn't much choice in her shop. But then some new dealers may carry the LLOM's and not brand X!

I agree that the quality is better and so is the price of them, Mombo. I still see Spoontiques, but not like I used to! We will be going to Gatlinburg, TN. in a few weeks and I'm going to look and see who is selling which lights. Years ago just about every store was selling Spoontiques. I think the Spoontiques rep must of hit every store on the strip! Will have to check and see if the LLOM are taking over yet!

That would be an interesting project for the forum. Everyone check out your local dealers and see if LLOM has cut into Spoontiques business. I'll bet it has by quite a lot.

I believe this thread is starting to deviate from its orignal intention of any new HL editions for the second-half of 2002.

Surely someone has got to know something.

With only 2 weeks before the end of the '01-'02 society year, doesn't anyone any confirmed info as to what is being released for the second-half of 2002 besides items that they wish to be released or about spoontiques? ... this is for another topic.

What about the new '02-'03 Society pieces?

Thanks Randy!!!

WOW, Now that's what I am talking about.

SPECTACULAR !!

HL keeps out doing themselves with each new release. 2002 is surely filled with some awsome pieces!

My hands are trembling, or should I say, itching, to get these fine lights.

This is definitely the year to collect HLs!

Christopher, unless someone with inside knowledge cares to share the information the 2nd half releases are usually not revealed by HL until the Collectors show in Rosemont, or wherever, in June. Maybe we hear a bit earlier. Keep checking that Bronze Lady's site as they usually are pretty quick to post the new/upcoming offerings. The past couple years when Jakers and myself won the Register and Win Pick a Light prize we were allowed to divulge our choices a bit in advance. Don't believe that this year's winner participates in the forums?

Where did you get your information, or was that a wild guess?

kikigl,

Latest Legacy, page 3, bottom right shows a picture of the top part of Boon Island. Caption reads: coming soon.

BRING ON BOON ISLAND!

Reminds me to add that one to my list at my dealer. I haven't done that yet.
