Wow! Boy do I feel lucky! Being from a state that only has 30 lighthouses and having so many of them made into Harbour Lights!!
Mayport, FL - I do hope they mean St. John's River (the old one - as it was before the Navy ruined it).
West Point PEI - Cute light, this should help boost visitors to the bed-n-breakfast it has become.
Chicamacomico Life Saving Station NC - For all you LSS loving collectors! Not the one we were wanting, but it is from a very popular LH state and is a really nice building. For more info on the station:
Chicamacomico LSS Website Dry Tortugas FL - I guess they mean Loggerhead Light, since Fort Jefferson (also in the Dry Tortugas) has already been done.
Sand Key FL - I would have rather Fowey Rocks (my favorite of the Reef Lights), but still a nice choice, very detailed. If it is only half as nice as the American Shoals Light they did, then it will still be beautiful.
St Joseph Point FL - Wow! How in the heck did they get the Raffield's to agree to this? The current owners of this little lighthouse allow people to take pictures of their light (from the end of the driveway), but only under the condition that the picture will not be used for any type of profit.
Anclote Key FL - Wow! Wow! I hope that this will be of how the light was, with Keepers Quarters, Oil House, etc; and not how it is currently (in very sad shape). I also hope that a small portion of the profits will go toward the organization (Gulf Island Alliance) that is helping to restore this forgotten light.
What a win for the Tampa Bay Harbour Lights Collector's Club!!!
Half Moon Reef TX - Cute. Nice win for the Texans.
Pharos Egypt - OOOOHHHH! One of the Original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (the last to fall of the six vanished wonders) - A tribute to the father of Lighthouses everywhere - nice addition to the collection! More info:
Pharos Lighthouse Colossus Of Rhodes Greece - Also one of the Original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Interesting addition, he'll have to be placed next to the Statue of Liberty - finally a boyfriend for Lady Liberty!
More info:
Colossus of Rhodes St Clair Channel (Set of two)in store event - As they originally were or as they are now? Hopefully this will boost interest in these forgotten lights that are in need of help. For more info on these lights go to:
St. Clair Channel Lights SE Block Island on the move 10 year anniversary - Hasn't this one been over-worked now? They already have 6 different versions of this one - LE, GLOW, GLOW Revised, Thumbnail (LE), Ornament, and LL.
Hillsboro FL GLOW - I bet this will be a lot smaller than the original LE.
Yaquina Head OR GLOW - I bet this will have a lot more detail than the original LE. Though I guess the originals have their own personalities.
Oak Island NC GLOW - Hmm! I wonder how they will be able to improve on this one. The LE is great.
