...If you arranged to have your Reunion Exclusive Hooper Strait shipped to your home, look for them in the next week.
Harbour Lights' home office reports they began shipping today.
The box I shipped to myself on the Tuesday after the Reunion arrived here today and included my Reunion pieces.
So who has the HIGHEST number? My highest is #911. Hmmm number 9-11. How about that.

Hey John,...Will the number on our Hooper Strait "minis" match the numbers on the full size pieces?
Getting 911 after the events of 9-11 is really bizarre don't you think. No one alive today will ever forget that day.

Number on mini matches number on the big 'un. No high numbers here - we got 15-16-17 and our extras were all fairly low numbers also.
Who got the last one??????

I called the home office today and asked when to expect shipping oh the HS... and they said the end of next week... I sure hope they were misinformed and that I will get my Hooper Strait sooner than that. I sure reqret not buying the "green roof" Hooper Strait but I passed thinking the Reunion piece would be "green roof" also. When I was told that the Reunion piece would be "different"... I just figured that the top coming off was the difference... Oh well....

I've got a 926, but without a mini. I also have a 561 with a 561 mini. My wife couldn't go to the reunion due to surgury 4 weeks ago and with cancelling her, the mini didn't come with her piece. I have no idea why. Ken

Hey Medicman, ...I would check with some of your area dealers. Sometimes people order these and don't pick them up. You never know when you may find one of those out there. Bob

Are we talking about the Society Piece or the Reunion Exclusive? I think my Society Piece is being shipped to my dealer.

Society versions are being shipped to the dealer you specified when you ordered it. They are expected to begin shipping next week -- after the Reunion Exclusives are all shipped.
The higher numbered Reunion Exclusive pieces were the 'extras' and do not come with a mini.
Is there anyone who did not order ANY Reunion Exclusive full size Hooper Strait? That could have been someone's choice -- just probably not any of we Connected Collectors.

Bob,
If you are crazy enough to want to get into a cage with Heather, I wish you lots of luck. My guess is that she will come out with your #17 when all the dust settles. Heather has a major fixation on the #17, and when they handed her the mini with #17, I thought Heather was going to jump across the table and hug her.
Now, if you are interested in financing a year of college for her, I could probably arrange for her #17 set to move to a new address............

Now Bob only your newer pieces are #17 and seeing that Heather is so fond of that number maybe she'd like a few more of them. But you can keep the red ones

Today it rained all day and sure enough when I got home at 6:30 p.m. there was a box from Harbour Lights on my porch. The box was soaking wet! My heart sank. I wondered why the delivery person did not wrap the box in plastic. Luckily, the Harbour Lights boxes inside were not wet! The packing peanuts saved them. Both of my pieces are signed by Bill without any special sayings. I have #611 and #947.

"The numbers on my mini's don't match with the LE's." Are you going to check with HL about this Gravedigger? It was my understanding that they were supposed to match. Did you have low #'s or high #'s (see below)?
"The higher numbered Reunion Exclusive pieces were the 'extras' and do not come with a mini." Maybe you know some more about this, JChidester? People who pre-registered through the "local club offer" received higher #'s than those who called in on Saturday received for BOTH of their pieces (if they bought two). I talked to one person who had bought two and their second sculpture had a # in the 300's. Our two minis have #'s in the 500's. I am still waiting for our "full-size" pieces to arrive, but I am expecting them to match the #'s on our minis. If all of this is right, then there would be no mini with the 3xx number that was on the above-mentioned collectors second full-size piece. Does this sound right to you?

I believe that the probable cause for Digger's non-matching numbers was that he did not order the Reunion Exclusive (Full Size) piece at the time of registering.
Right Digger?

Hooray!! When I got home the box from Harbour Lights was waiting for me on the front porch. Although it rained here today our box didn't get wet. We had ordered 4 lights and two of them had thank you on the top besides Bill's signature and the date. It is nice to find presents waiting when you get home from a hard days work. 2beacons

We have matched sets #15-16-17. The extras were # 61, 62, 68. My guess would be that whomever registered in those "positions" received the mini with those numbers, but they chose not to order more than one full size for the family. (Guess - there were 3 on a registration, they got minis 60-61-62, full size #60, but passed on ordering more than one full size.) When HL assigned the extras, it would appear they started with the first available unclaimed number for a full size and went from there. Doing this, I would believe, allows them to have an edition with correct, sequential numbers. Otherwise you would have 1100 pieces with flag numbers skipping around, and possibly going as high as the 1600s.
I would venture a guess that Ken (gebbyk) ordered his allotted piece and accepted the chance to order a second one. I bet these are the ones he received. If he cancelled the wife's registration, she would not have received a mini or the chance to order a full size. (educated guess?)

I'm glad to see Heather and I share a cool number "17." As far as college Dave, I wish you well? My fourth is a Junior, and it is quite appealing to only have to pay for one kid at a time. My head spins for all you parents who a projecting college costs in the future. For your(tic) sake, I do hope those pieces can be cashed in for some tuition! LOL Heather, I hope #17 is as good to you as it's been to me.

Dave: thanks for that explanation of how the "higher" numbers can still be low. We had 27 and 28 matching our minis and received our extras as 95 and 99. I had mentioned this to Nancy at the regional event on Saturday thinking that someone who attended the Reunion wouldn't have received his/her rightfully numbered pieces. Now I won't continue to worry... Did anyone pick up an extra thumbnail from Friday night's dinner? We went to Camden Yard for Cal Ripkin's next to last baseball game and missed picking up our Craighill Lower Channel Front Range thumbnails.
