Did everyone get the mailing from Harbour Lights that has the picture of the Inner Harbor with the arrows pointing to cruise ships, a lighthouse and a lightship? It looks like HL has planned some nice things for Baltimore.

Yes, I received my paperwork yesterday. It looks like a great spot to spend a few days. The time will be here before we know it. It's amazing how fast time is flying!

I understand it is a season away but does anyone know what kind of clothes to plan for that time of the year?

I would say start following the mid atlantic reports the first of Sept. and pack accordingly.the weather along that coast can be quite surprising.Bill O'Brien

I would say lots of casual late summer clothing. The water will still be warm so the air should be about the same. If the sun is out during the day, I would recommend shorts and short-sleeve shirts. Of course, it's always nice to have a sweatshirt and light windbreaker handy. I won't mention the "R" word. It would never "R" on the HL Parade.

Jo Ann,

I grew up in the Baltimore area so I can tell you first hand that the weather during any season will be unpredictable. At that time in the year if the sun is out it will be nice and toasty, if it is overcast make sure you have a jacket. You'll be on the Harbor front so breezes are apt to get you if you're not prepared. But, should the weather surprise you, there is always great shopping in the 2 pavilions along the harbor where you will be able to find what you need - not to mention a few lighthouse souvenirs.
For anyone planing to be in the area with children, try and stop at the aquarium or science center also along the harbor front.
Finally, if you get the chance hit Annapolis. I know this will sound a bit biased since I grew up there, but it is one of the best waterfront towns I've ever visited. The shopping along Main Street is filled with nautical and lighthouse treats as well as Maryland momentos.
Hope everyone will enjoy their trip!
